Sometimes he feels that the world has lost the capacity for wonder, to experience the incredible, to delight in amazement. Life is full of movement, color, texture, and beauty. If we just take the time to observe, we can see and experience these qualities everywhere. This is what he tries to achieve with his photographs: to draw attention to the wonders of the world, to share the extraordinary richness of existence with others, to capture the marvel of expression and gesture, and to put into perspective what is so often lost in ordinary observation. That is the purpose of his work. By carefully composing, lighting, choreographing, and manipulating every minute aspect of each composition, he strives to transform the ordinary into perfection and achieve, if only for brief moments, instances of pure utopia.
